Our AI Philosophy & Ethics

We believe AI is a tool that allows us to reach our potential faster, yet also introduces serious issues with privacy, politics, security, and the way our future will be carved in time.

We encourage everyone to use AI to help them achieve their goals by amplifying pre-existing expertise and accelerating research and learning of new topics or skills. There are many different avenues AI is used commonly, such as a Personal AI Assistant (like a Jarvis), a Coding Assistant (like Claude Code), a Workspace Assistant (like Google Gemini), or a conversationalist and learning mechanism (like ChatGPT).

AI is not magic. If you have no understanding of a subject or skill, AI will not make it better or create something beyond what you could not do yourself - it will just do it faster. Given time to learn and work directly with a specific subject, no interruptions or distractions, you could achieve the same thing the AI builds in an afternoon. We don't have that time. In the far majority of cases, whatever an AI can produce for you will reflect in part your own understanding of it.

In using AI, there is a level of understanding that must come with it, just like a firearm, a vehicle, a power drill, bleach, superglue. Above all, you are responsible for the outcomes you produce.

We see AI slop being strewn from the garbage disposal of cut corners and easy money promises. However, someone was also finally able to build the thing of their dreams with some assistance and begin the true journey they desired - now with the help they needed.

It can be beautiful. It can be disgusting.

We understand the risks of what is to come and what will happen if core principles and values are not upheld in this world.

We fight for the light. Our purpose is to connect humans and evolving technology with Privacy, Security, and Ethics at the forefront. To ensure no personal data is at risk. To help us understand that AI is a tool, not a replacement for your Self, your Understanding, your Mind. To help us express our humanity and creativity to our fullest potential, not replace it. To elevate employees to the next level, not eliminate them. To support humanity as much as possible in this next technology revolution.
